I used to be an Architect, but I’m alright now!
I was born in Central London and lived the first 28 years of my life there. In 1974, following the birth of my first child, my family moved into ‘the country’ and, apart from a brief return to London, I have lived in rural or semi-rural locations ever since (including 5 years in The Outer Hebrides and another 25 years in other parts of Scotland). Three of my four children still live in Scotland, along with 7 of my 9 grandchildren, but now fully retired I’ve recrossed the border to live in South-East Devon. It is a decision that promises much material for writing to come.
